Things to do in East Cobb
East Cobber Parade

East Cobb is an area in Cobb County Georgia between Marietta, Sandy Springs and Roswell that is very family-friendly. It has been well established since the 1960s as one of the finest places to live in Georgia and has many activities events and great shopping and dining as you would expect from an affluent suburb of Atlanta.

East Cobb was recently named as the “Best Place To Live” by Money Magazine.

There is a population of around 175,000 in this unincorporated area of Marietta.

Some notable names that have called East Cobb home are Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chis and Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes, Country music star Travis Tritt, Ty Pennington, Missy Elliot and of course, Bobby Cox, former coach of the Atlanta Braves whose new stadium is now extremely accessible to all residents of East Cobb.

There is plenty to do in this area with many family and community events happening year round. You may want to visit East Cobb Park, an area of green space where kids go to play on the playground, walkers and their dogs go for a stroll or runners take in the wooded area and creek that flows through this tranquil, but well used space.

Shopping is aplenty with many upscale shops at The Avenue East Cobb as well as Merchants Walk shopping Center.

The Picture Show is a great way to spend a few hours on rainy days watching a movie and it is affordable to all at only $2.

East Cobb is famous for its baseball and there is a huge soccer contingent too that keeps kids busy with after school activities.
